Tuscan Mark Lodge No 1099; Installation meetings are always different and enjoyable.

This year’s Installation meeting held on Monday 16th December was we think unique, in several ways. It was the seventh consecutive Installation/ Proclamation ceremony that WBro Sandy Kean had conducted for the Lodge.
 
Sandy is not only the backbone of Tuscan Mark Lodge he also the PGM’s deputy Special Rep for the Liverpool Group and just for good measure Prov. GMO. The other unique thing was, that for the first time  the Lodge had to obtain dispensation for the Worshipful Master, WBro Gil Smith, to remain in office for a third consecutive year.
Steve Walls, Gil Smith, Sandy Kean
Representing the Right Worshipful provincial grand Master was WBro Steve Walls. Steve is also the PGM’s Special Rep for the Liverpool Group. When the members were in place WBro Gil Smith opened the Lodge. There then was a successful ballot for a joining member, WBro Paul Green who is also a member and past master of West Lancs; 65 Mark Lodge.
 
Once the Dispensation had been read; WBro sandy Kean Proclaimed, WBro Gil Smith as Worshipful Master. With the offices appointed; WBro Brian Boothroyed gave the address to the Master and WBro Derek Gaskell gave the address to the Overseers. There was no address for the existing Wardens had remained in office.

The address to the Brethren was given by WBro Steve Walls. At the end of ceremony WBro Walls congratulated on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master. The Worshipful in return presented WBro Walls with two cheques for Charity and these were gratefully received. We wish WBro Gil Smith and Tuscan Mark a happy and enjoyable year.
